Jaguar Tyres: What We Check
Sporty Jaguars such as the F-Type and many XE and XF trims run wider tyres on the rear than the front. Tell us which corner is damaged and send that size, because front and rear tyres cannot be swapped.
The F-Pace and I-Pace are heavy cars. Vehicle lifting requirements vary by model and must be assessed before fitting. We check the load rating and ask about the space around the car before confirming.
I-Pace
Jaguar's electric SUV. The load index must match, and the car is lifted only at its marked points.
Large Wheels
20 inch and larger wheels are common. Some sizes are less widely stocked, so availability is confirmed first.

Tyre Notes for Jaguar
Jaguar XE, XF, F-Pace and F-Type models commonly run 18 to 22 inch wheels, and many use staggered sizes with wider rear tyres. Jaguar may specify tyres with a J marking. The electric I-Pace is heavy and needs tyres with the correct load rating, often XL (extra load).
Some Jaguars have air suspension, especially the I-Pace. Vehicle lifting requirements vary by model and must be assessed before fitting.
Locking wheel nuts are common, and many Jaguars have a space-saver or repair kit. Tyre pressure monitoring usually needs a reset after new tyres.
F-Type and F-Pace SVR models use high speed rated tyres, often Y or (Y), and staggered fitments mean front and rear tyres cannot be swapped to even out wear. Jaguar owners who cover low mileage should also check the tyre age using the DOT code on the sidewall, as older tyres harden even with plenty of tread left. If you have a space-saver fitted after a puncture, keep to its speed limit, usually 50 mph, until a new tyre is fitted.
